I'm a lecturer on the MSc in Digital Education at the University of Edinburgh. I am also a graduate of this programme which I undertook to find out what it was like to be an online student. For 20 years prior to that I was involved in educational development at three other Scottish universities. I'm fascinated by the relationship between networked environments and academic texts of all kinds – and especially the complex ways that students respond to these.
